Baby boy Scrapbook

Hi friends

A birth of a child is one of the happiest moment in everyone's life. It is a life changing experience...With a baby is born many new relationships. A mother, a father...Sister or brother....

A beautiful journey of motherhood starts right when the baby is developing in the womb. For the baby, we take good care of ourselves. We fall in love with this small unseen creation of God.

And, it's a whole new experience everyday seeing our baby grow. And capturing those moments into pictures are the only memories left with us to cherish.

The idea of making a scrapbook for my son came into my mind ever since he was in my womb. But, due to some reasons I kept on postponing it.

My elder son, Himanshu was born on 3rd July 2011...It was a double celebration because, on that day, is my parents anniversary too.  So....Two occasions and double the happiness.

Time flew by...But the thought of making a scrapbook never went off from my mind. In the mean time , I gave birth to my second child in 2014.

And then...You know how busy the life gets....One an infant and the other going to school. It was high time...And I really needed to work on my thoughts.

It was my younger son' s birthday. I bought a happy birthday banner for him. I had seen many baby onsie albums in you tube. So.. when I purchased this banner, immediately, I decided to reuse it to make it a scrapbook for my elder son.

I bought 2 banners....  On every page , I cut the papers according to its shape and pasted . I wanted to write something on baby....So I googled e baby quotes and wrote it before the start of every month and the other page I had sticked the photos in different styles and openings. I embellished it flowers, doilies, and many more small details...

This album is small in size...But I had managed to stick 75 photos in all...It was quite tricky and time consuming in editing the photos...As I am not used to photoshop...So, I just reduced the original photos to 3 by 4 inches and a few even  smaller or bigger than this.

With every month, I have tried to cover all his milestones.  And then..the final part...piling all the pages and putting it together...I had no time to get the clamp in ...So I used my bangles, cut it , and then put all the pages inside and stick it with glue gun. Later, to hide it , I used ribbons on it to cover the glued part.

Finally it's done. It came out quite as I wanted to...This album is just empty because I clicked it before pasting the photos.

When my son saw it complete with his photos stuck...He was so happy. It is a mothers gift to her son...To cherish it for a lifetime.

I know...It's a bit longer text...The more excited I was to make it...Even more excited I was in penning it down too. I hope you liked it. Waiting for your sweet comments. 😃

Now it's turn for the younger one...Hope to make it very soon.
